I think weblogs are still a relatively small niche on the internet (For example, does your Grandma know about weblogs? Does your mom?), and Amazon would only become interested in them (externally) if there were some way to make money with them. At the same time, any project that Amazon did to make money off of weblogs would be seen as evil to most webloggers, so it probably wouldn’t work out very well. If I had to guess, I’d say that was the current state of the stalemate between Amazon and weblogs... though it could easily change in the future.Posted by hiroko at February 20, 2004 01:48 PM | TrackBack
